UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

Professional cleaning services are recommended for all upholstered furniture. Never soak or saturate material. Routine vacuuming or light brushing is recommended. Test any fabric cleaner in an inconspicuous location. Pilling is natural to many fabrics, remove with a lint brush or fabric shaver. Always blot, do not rub.

LEATHER

Dry-dust or vacuum with soft brush upholstery attachments regularly. Avoid direct sunlight. Immediately tend to spills by wiping and blotting with clean cloth. Do not saturate.

SUEDE

Occasionally brush gently with soft suede brush and vacuum.

SLIPCOVER CLEANING

CUSHION COVER

Regular fluffing and smoothing. Reverse cushions monthly.

 

GENERAL CARE

ACRYLIC

Carefully clean with acrylic cleaner and a soft cloth. For scratches use an acrylic scratch remover, carefully following directions.

BRASS

Wipe with soft, cotton cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths or polish.

BONE & HORN

Wash in warm water only and dry immediately.

IRON & STEEL

Clean with soft cloth. Avoid water-based cleaning products.

LAMP SHADES

Light dusting or vacuuming with a soft brush attachment.

MARBLE

Clean with soft cloth and stone cleaner.

STAINLESS STEEL

Clean with warm water and soft cloth. Dry immediately after.

WOOD

Clean with soft cloth slightly moistened with water. Never saturate. Polish product specific to wood and follow directions.

RUG CARE

WOOL

To remove food and debris scrap off with a dull flat instrument followed by vacuuming carpet in low power mode or with the beater turned off. Gently blot spills repeatedly with a clean dry absorbent cloth.  When cleaning needed contact a professional rug cleaner.

JUTE

Vacuum on low power setting. To avoid unraveling or damage to the rug cut loose threads. Gently blot spills repeatedly with a clean dry absorbent cloth. Do not dry clean.

MIXED CONTENT & POLYESTER

Clean all spills immediately. Gently blot spills repeatedly using a clean dry absorbent cloth. Avoid using water or cleaning products, as it may discolor the rug. When cleaning needed contact a professional rug cleaner.

VISCOSE

Do not spot clean with water or cleaning products as it can discolor the rug. Regularly vacuum with the beater off. When cleaning needed contact a professional rug cleaner.
